Austin Sweet works as a Laboratory Technician at Sus Clinicals. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. During his time in University, Austin studied apoptosis in HL-60 cells where he researched the effects of multiple reagents and concentrations on Human Leukemia 60 cells. Austin has also worked as a Research Technician where he maintained cell lines, tested pseudo viruses and researched antibodies.
Austin’s responsibilities at Sus Clinicals include conducting various experiments to advance the Oncopig Cancer Model, and performing services to support research for customers (e.g. tissue culturing, sample collection and processing, monitoring of tumor development, histology and gene editing).
