Kes Perry is an Animal Care Technician at Sus Clinicals. Kes began working as a Veterinary Assistant in 2017, and in 2020, earned their Associate of Arts in Applied Sciences of Veterinary Technology. They successfully completed their Veterinary Technician National Exam shortly after graduating. During their time in school, Kes worked with Veterinary Specialty Services (V.S.S.) in St. Louis, MO, and found an interest in critical care, anesthesia, and surgical assisting. Kes completed their internship through V.S.S., gaining extended training in the oncology, radiology, and surgery departments.
Following their experience in a veterinary hospital setting, Kes aspired to explore biomedical research involving animals and eagerly embraced the chance to pursue this passion through the utilization of the Oncopig Cancer Model.
