AACR Annual Meeting 2025

April 25 - April 30

  • « The Swine in Biomedical Research conference

Sus Clinicals, Inc. is delighted to participate in this year’s American Association of Cancer Research Annual Meeting in Chicago, beginning on Friday, April 25.

Sus Clinicals’ Principal R&D Scientist Dr. Mahmoud Khalafalla will be presenting some of our latest research on April 29 at 2pm.

His presentation will cover “Validation of genetically defined Oncopig® hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines for in vitro evaluation of targeted therapeutic efficacy.”

Building on our success developing histology-specific tumor induction models (such as HCC), recent work demonstrates our ability to develop Oncopig HCC cell lines with differential therapeutic susceptibilities through introduction of specific, clinically relevant HCC driver mutations (PTEN, etc.) via CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing.

This is particularly useful for researchers developing targeted therapeutics against specific driver mutations.

If you will be attending AACR and would like to speak with one of our team members to learn about how the Oncopig platform could accelerate your cancer research, please contact us at info@susclinicals.com to schedule a meeting.
